 35th Annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in Boston 

 When:  June 15, 2014                                          Where:  Charles River - Weeks Footbridge

 This festival is a showcase of what Cambridge has to offer and visitors and community members alike with an array of        arts, cultural, and community organizations’ activities that happen year-round throughout the city.

 The Hong Kong Commissioner to USA, Mr. Clement Leung, the most senior representative of the Hong Kong Special  Administrative Region Government will officiate at the opening ceremony at 12 noon on June 15.


 Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival Season Opening Gala
 
 When:  June 14, 2014                                          Where:  Jacob's Pillow Dance - Becket, MA

 The Gala celebrates the opening of the season of the 82nd Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, with stellar performances from  The Hong Kong Ballet, Trey McIntyre Project and a rare performance by the legendary Carmen de Lavallade.
 The Hong Kong Commissioner to USA, Mr. Clement Leung, the most senior representative of the Hong Kong Special  Administrative Region Government will officiate at the gala on June 14. 


 Second Hong Kong Day at Massachusetts State House

 When:  June 13, 2014                                          Where:  Massachusetts State House - Boston, MA

 Organized by Hong Kong Association of Massachusetts (HKAMA) with support from Hong Kong Economic Trade Office,  New York.  Elected officials and representatives of the Massachusetts community will attend this event.  Hong Kong  Commissioner to USA, Mr. Clement Leung, the most senior representative of the Hong Kong Administrative Region  Government will also officiate at this event.

 New England Chinese Professionals Lunar New Year Gala & Community Enrichment Forum

 When:  Saturday, February 1, 2014                                         Where:  Marriott Boston-Newton

 Hong Kong Association of Massachusetts was one of the five Co-Chairs of 2014 New England Chinese Professional  Associations New Year Gala.  The 2014 Gala and Forums was a joint effort of sixteen New England Chinese-American  professional Associations.  These are non-profit, non-political professional organizations with members in diverse  industries and professional fields, such as high-tech, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, law, business  management, higher education, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship and many other areas.  These professional  associations collectively have over 4,000 members, many of whom are leaders in their respective fields or industries.

 The 2014 Gala and Forums is part of the overall objective of the organizations in joining forces to enrich one another, to  build bonds within our communities and to celebrate our common cultural and historic heritage. 

 Special guests included: Johnny Ip, President of HKAMA, Byron Lee, Director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council,  Congressman Joe Kennedy, China Deputy Consulate General Cheng Li, Eric Schultz, CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health  Care, Dr. Mike Wagner, CEO of Tufts Medical Center and John Brooks III, CEO of Joslin Diabetes Center.
